## Integration Diagrams
Better Email connects to Braze via a REST API key, letting you export campaigns directly as email templates without leaving the platform. Once connected, re-exporting an existing campaign updates its Braze template in place rather than duplicating it, and merge tags/segmentation are rendered in Braze-compatible syntax automatically. Optionally, you can sync Braze custom attributes into Better Email as recipient fields, so they're available for merge tags and segmentation.
Setup takes three steps: create a REST API key in Braze (with Email + Templates permissions), paste the Instance URL and API key into Better Email, then enable the integration.
